After advancing through the Yarra Group competition, our Year 8 Girls Table Tennis team went to the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition on Wednesday 19th October.

We ended up in an extremely difficult pool, coming up against Balwyn, Glen Waverley and East Doncaster. Ivy Connor, Imogen Mason, LiAnke Booyens and Michaela Blake were extremely competitive, taking away games from each of the teams but not enough for overall wins on the day. A massive congratulations to the team; I was extremely impressed with their “never say die” attitude and positive outlook throughout the day. Well done, you should all be very proud.
