Brilliant work by our Year 7 Hockey Team

The team has been working extremely hard all term; during lunch times as well as in class time practices. The students have certainly grown together, being able to back each other up and actually start to read where each player is going to move to.

I was so impressed; students were connecting some fluent give and go passes, they were using reliable reverse stick control and making some very strong tackles.

We scored first in the first half of the game, then Healesville equalised just before half time and the score remained 1 all at the end of full time. We went into extra time, again scoring in the first half. This time we managed to hold on with our goal keeper and defence making some amazing saves.

At the end the students won 2 to 1 against Healesville High and made it into the next round.

Well done all students – please keep your eyes open we will start some more training next term!
