This year's production was a re-telling of the magical story of Dorothy and her adventures in The Land of Oz.
We all know the drill; Dorothy, from Kansas, and her dog Toto, are whisked away to the land of Oz in a freak tornado accident, which results in the death of a Wicked Witch.
This sets in motion a series of events involving a scarecrow, a lion and a tin man. There’s a yellow brick road, some poppies, an emerald city and flying monkeys.
This version of Dorothy’s travels was inspired by the novel; ‘The Wizard of Oz’. There are some differences between the book and the movie, which you may have noticed. There were also a lot of McKenzien lines and quips in there as well…
Student participation was excellent this year, with the largest cast and crew ever! The students performed brilliantly, and audiences were wowed by the hilarity of their line delivery.
As always, congratulations to all those involved; we hope you had fun!
