A Unique Learning Experience

Valleydale Café is a student run café at Lilydale Heights College, established in 2009.

Our students learn all aspects of running a café including how to make coffees, prepare café style food, wait on tables, operate a cash register and most importantly customer service.

Valleydale Restaurant and Café offers a unique learning experience for our students. We are proud to be able to provide this valuable resource for our Food Technology students, as well as cater for our local community.

The Café is open to the general public. We regularly invite parents and friends to enjoy the high quality products our students create.

Personal Growth

Valleydale offers our senior school students a real world experience and provides them with valuable skills such as working in a team to succeed in the workforce. We see significant transformations in the development of self-esteem and confidence, as students are challenged in situations they may not be familiar with. The use of our industrial kitchen provides our students with the perfect environment to create high quality food and beverages.
