The Year 12 VCE students kicked the year off with gusto on the annual Soaring Start Camp. Staying in the residences of Melbourne University, students sampled life on campus, and learned some valuable study skills to prepare them for the year to come. Their visit to the State Library of Victoria taught them some valuable research skills, as well as a bit of history.
In addition, students also had the opportunity to visit RMIT, ACU, and William Angliss, in order to get a feel for a variety of post-secondary education options. They learned about course options, campus life, and what waits for them after school finishes. Students also enjoyed extra-curricular activities such as the Queen Victoria Markets at night, trivia, and a trip to the movies. All are congratulated on the exemplary way they represented the College in every activity!
