Lilydale Heights College has a long standing sister-school relationship with Ota First High School in Ibaraki, Japan. On an annual basis, students from Ota First High School visit and immerse themselves in Australian culture. This visit is reciprocated in September.

In 2013, a sister-school relationship with Yulin High School in Shaanxi, China was established. The focus of this relationship is on teacher exchange.

Both sister school relationships enhance the cultural and learning environment of students as they develop into global citizens.
