Game Changers and Change Makers
This year saw 2 groups of students participate in the ATHENA program. They spent two terms learning science and survival skills that would enable them to survive for 30 hours isolated on ‘Mars’.
The two missions were a great success, and the astronaut’s feedback has been really positive.
A group of middle school students also participated in an event at the State Library where they learned how books are protected from parasites and decay.
In a first for the college, the Family Science Night included a Science competition. Congratulations to our 5 inaugural winners.
