on behalf of Erin Doughty, Year 9 Liaison
On Tuesday 8th November, the Year 9 students were given the opportunity to participate in a half day Rhythm Rights Respect Workshop. It was delivered by PaKT4Change a not-for-profit organisation who deliver treatment and prevention music therapy programs for kids and their families across Australia.
The students were energetic and insightful with their involvement. They talked about issues that face them and different methods to approach these within day to day life.
All students played an instrument and we discussed how some instruments had loud voices and some soft voices just like people in social situations.
Well done to all the Year 9 students involved, the two presenters on the day were thoroughly impressed with the behaviour and engagement from everyone.
