Over the past few weeks, I have continued to be impressed by our students and I wanted to share with you some highlights.

I wanted to begin my first newsletter article at Lilydale Heights College by saying thank you. It is an honour and a privilege to have been appointed to this role in such a wonderful school.

Clear focus during this month has been on the completion of Common Assessment Tasks. This will culminate with the Assessment Week planned for all Middle School classes and examination period for Year 11 students.

Welcome to Term 2! I trust that everyone has had a restful Easter period and is enjoying the beautiful autumn weather we are currently experiencing in Melbourne.

During the second last week of Term 1, I travelled to Wagga Wagga to compete in the National Trap Carnival.

Classes have settled and staff have continued their focus on Literacy and Numeracy. The first round of Progress Reporting has been completed and plans are underway for the upcoming Parent Student Teacher Conferences.

On Saturday 28TH March two members of the Students Interact Representative Council Laura Dangaard and Athena Rose Marana acted as MCs at the 2022 Rotary District Conference at The Caulfield Racecourse.

Congratulations to Ryekan, Sam and Spencer on their first visit back to Yarra Ranges Tech School (YRTS) for their Koorie Student Program.

2021 has been another busy and productive school year. It is difficult to believe that this is the final newsletter for the school year.

Last week our Year 9 students were involved in COW-Community Outreach Week. This year we decided to raise money for an organisation called Backpacks4VICKids.
