Our new Outdoor Education group in this semester started their activities off with mountain biking skills at school this week.
Welcome back to Term 3. I trust everyone had a warm winter break. The school term has started well and students are now well engaged in their classes as we move into the second half of the school year.
On Tuesday July 25, Lilydale Heights College hosted the International Middle Years Mathematics Olympiad. Over one hundred and twenty students from Asia and surrounding schools competed in the one-day event.
Music Rehearsal Camp offers many wonderful experiences for our students, including intensive rehearsals, sectionals, and workshops to enhance their musical abilities and ensemble performance skills.
Clearly this has been a very busy Term at the College. I would like to take this opportunity to thank staff for their tireless work and wish all members of our College community a safe and warm winter break.
Café Culture students had a great time keeping up with latest Café trends by making fabulous Monster Milkshakes.
The theme for Science Club this term has been food. We have tried to sink a marshmallow, turned skittles into a rainbow, made sherbet, undertaken blind food testing and tested the pH of different substances. It has been loads of fun, as well as educational.

On Monday May 29, the whole College travelled to our new venue at Proclamation Park in Ringwood to take part in the 2017 Athletics Carnival.

The month of May has proven to be a very busy period for staff and students at Lilydale Heights College. The classrooms remain a hive of activity and this has been supplemented by the various extra curricular programs on offer to students throughout the College.
