The team has been working extremely hard all term; during lunch times as well as in class time practices.
Term 3 has an uninterrupted focus on teaching and learning. Students are busy in all classes where teachers are actively involved in challenging their learning and developing environment, where students are encouraged to extend themselves.
This year we had a group of Year 7 students participate in Tree Day. Under instruction from the Sustainability Team, we planted native trees, shrubs and grasses in the indoor/outdoor classroom between H-wing and the Gym.
Congratulations to the LHC Stage Band for winning Gold for the second year in a row at the Victorian Schools Music Festival.
Despite challenging conditions, the students worked extremely hard on their cross country skiing visit to Mt Stirling Alpine Park.
Well done to the students in our Middle School Outdoor Ed group for their efforts on Monday August 12. In the morning we ventured around the fallen trees on the way up the 1,000 steps and then carried on to the high ropes at Tree Tops Adventure.
A member of the Indigenous Cultural Team came in to demonstrate Indigenous weapons, tools, music and cultural stories for our studies, supporting our work in Outdoor Education.

Last week was the week of the world-famous LHC Music Camp, held up at Oasis Camp in Mt Evelyn. It was a packed few days of music, rehearsals, quality food and all-round fun.
